IG Assures Workers Of Adequate Security On May Day

The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, expressed happiness with the nation's Labour movement and assured them of adequate
security during this year Workers' Day Celebrations. IG gave the assurance in a message to the workers ahead of the May Day coming up  tomorrow Friday 1st , May.


 He described workers as " a dependable ally" in the effort to provide security in the country and commended their role in ensuring the peaceful conduct of the just concluded general elections.

IG further stated that adequate security arrangement had been made for a hitch-free celebration and that heads of police nationwide had been instructed to deploy large human and material resources for the celebration.


Mr. Solomon Arase, advised workers to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement in their area to the police and other law enforcement agencies immediately.
