Woman Delivers Mermaid-Like Baby

A mermaid-like baby has been delivered at the Suntreso Government Hosiptal in Kumasi, Starrfmonline.com has reported.


The child has only one leg joining the torso from the waist down to the two feet and the baby has no genitals.

Reports indicate it seemed healthy at birth. Officials at the hosiptal have refused to comment officially on the issue.

A similar issue also occur in Komfo Anokye Teaching hosiptal in Kumasi with the baby having features of aquatic creature. In this case the baby was described as having congenital deformity. The baby however died weeks latter.
