He announced his intention to withdraw his membership of the party on Wednesday.
Mustafa Bello served as minister during Olusegun Obasanjo's administration. He contested for the PDP governorship primary elections in 2013 and 2015 in Niger State.
He said that his descision to dump the party was for personal reasons.
