Jonathan Promises To Rebuild Communities Destroyed by Boko Haram

The Nigerian government in Maiduguri on thursday met with parents of schoolgirls abducted from Chibok by Boko Haram, promising to rehabilitate communities destroyed by the group.

Representing the president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, the minister of power, state, Mohammed Wakil praised the family of the abducted girls for not politicizing the girl's abdction.

 "I assure you that not only will the rescue operation be successful,the other three goals of reclaiming occupied territories, resettlement of IDPS and rebuilding of communities will be pursued to a logical conclusions. This is a special pledge of the president which the entire administration is commited to" Wakil said.

In response, Pindar Dauda,speaking for the parents thanked president Jonathan for his concern and sympathy and prayed for the success of the military against the terrorists in the area. "I appeal with president Jonathan not to relent, he should continue with the war against Boko Haram. He should get our children back to us safely. We are praying for him and the military" Dauda said.
