Two Men Arrested For Stealing Yam In Delta State

On Friday Morning, Mr. Kingsley Isolo and John Eharere were caught stealing tubers of yam in a
local market,Yanga Market in Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State.


 According to an eye witness, both men appeared like people who want to buy food stuffs. One was pricing the yam while one was distracting the woman who sells yam. Unknown to them, people were watching them. When they learnt  that they have been caught, they took to their heels. Angry mob went after them and dealt with them mercilessly. Police later arrived and took the men away after they had been beaten up by the mob. 

The stall owner, stated told newsmen that they had come to price her yam and she refused selling since the price they bargain for does not suit her taste. I went inside to bring out more yam only to hear people screaming thieves! thieves! and it was me that was robbed.

















Olieh police commamd handled the case and arrested the men and brought back the woman's yam.
